It is the policy of 'Guardian Assessment Pvt. Ltd.' to operate its business in accordance with the guidance principles of impartiality, competence, responsibility, openness, confidentiality and responsiveness. GUARDIAN views the safeguarding of impartiality as paramount in maintaining confidence in GUARDIAN’s Certification activities. GUARDIAN senior management has established and promoted an impartiality policy with associated objectives on which GUARDIAN’s service will be based. GUARDIAN’s management is committed for managing conflict of interest, in case there is any, and bring objectivity to the certification process. A relationship that threatens GUARDIAN's impartiality can be based upon ownership, governance, personnel, shared resources, finances, contracts, marketing and payment of a sales commission or other inducement for the referral of new clients etc. GUARDIAN's top management is committed to impartiality in its management system certification activities and has appointed an independent Impartiality Committee. All Directors of GUARDIAN, staff and sub-contractors are required to complete and sign the Compliance with Conflict of Interest Policy. In any event representation of a balance of interests shall be such that no single interest will be al-lowed to predominate at any convening thereof. The Impartiality Committee has ultimate authority for matters relating to GUARDIAN impartiality and to maintaining integrity of the certification process.

GUARDIAN shall have process to identified, analyzed, Evaluate, Treat, Monitor and documented the possibilities for conflict of interests and risk related to conflict of interest arising from provision of certification including any conflicts arising from its relationships on an ongoing basis. However, if any activities or relationship creates a threat to impartiality, GUARDIAN shall document and eliminates or minimizes such threats / risk and document any residual risk also. GUARDIAN shall document, analyzed and minimize or eliminate such threats which includes:
Weather this risk arises within the GUARDIAN?
Weather this risk arises from activities of other person, bodies or organization?
Top Management of GUARDIAN review all residual risk to determine if it is within the level of acceptable risk.
GUARDIAN’s Risk assessment process includes identification of and consultation with appropriate interested parties* advise on matter affecting confidence in certification, including impartiality, openness and public Perception. The consultation with appropriate interested parties shall be balanced with no single predominating.
During the risk assessment GUARDIAN identify and consult interested parties to take advise on matter affecting confidence in certification, impartiality openness and public perception: these interested parties may include GUARDIAN’s representatives, Certified Clients, Consumer of Certified Organization, Representative of Industry Trade Association, Representative of Governmental regulatory Bodies or governmental Services, Representative of NGOs, Consumer Organization, Environmental Specialist, Food Sector Specialist, Health Safety Specialist, Information Security Specialist, Health Sector Specialist.
A relationship that threatens the impartiality of GUARDIAN can be based on ownership, governance, management, personnel, shared resources, finances, contracts, training, marketing and payment of a sales commission or other inducement for the referral of new clients, etc. GUARDIAN continually evaluate its relationship with any other organization, which may affect its impartiality.
