Overview
This procedure outlines the steps for restoring a certification that has been previously suspended. Restoration can only be considered after the client organization has addressed all the issues that led to the suspension and has provided sufficient evidence of effective corrective action.
The Restoration Decision Process
The decision to restore a certificate is a formal certification decision and is subject to an impartial review process.
- Formation of a Certification Decision Committee: A Certification Decision Committee shall be constituted to review the case for restoration. In line with our commitment to impartiality, this committee is comprised of competent and authorized personnel who are different from those who carried out the audit that led to the suspension.
- Review of Evidence: The committee conducts a thorough review of the client’s file, focusing on the evidence submitted to address the reasons for the suspension. The goal is to verify that all issues have been resolved and that the management system is once again in compliance.
- Making the Decision: The final decision to restore the certification is made by a competent person within the committee, as defined by the Guardian Assessment Pvt. Ltd. skills matrix. The decision, along with all supporting justification, shall be formally recorded within the client’s file.
Communication of the Decision
Guardian Assessment Pvt. Ltd. will formally inform the client of the committee’s decision regarding the restoration of their certification. This ensures the client is kept fully updated on the status of their certification.
