Certification Authority

Guardian Assessment Pvt. Ltd. is an independent, impartial, and accredited third-party certification body, delivering ISO certification services that help organizations demonstrate compliance with global management system standards. We operate in strict accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 and other relevant accreditation and international requirements. All certification decisions are made independently by our authorized technical review and approval panel based on evidence derived from a structured audit methodology. Our operations are designed to support transparency, regulatory alignment, industry relevance, and client confidence in every certification decision issued.

Scope of Accreditation

Compliance Commitment

Impartiality and Integrity

We operate under a strict impartiality framework governed by our impartiality policy and committee. Guardian Assessment:

  • Maintains internal safeguards to prevent conflicts of interest in audits, reviews, or certification decisions
  • Prohibits consultancy or internal audits to ensure full neutrality
  • Conducts annual impartiality risk assessments, which are reviewed by top management and our impartiality committee

Every staff member, auditor, and technical reviewer must sign a declaration of impartiality and non-conflict for each certification cycle.

Certification Validity

Certificates issued by Guardian Assessment Pvt. Ltd. are:

  • Valid for three (3) years from the date of initial certification
  • Subject to mandatory annual surveillance audits to ensure compliance continuity
  • Renewed through a recertification audit at the end of the cycle

If required, clients may apply for changes to scope, site addition, or sector expansion, subject to eligibility and audit verification.

Use of Logos and Marks

Certified clients are permitted to use Guardian’s certification mark and the logos of relevant accreditation bodies (UAF and IAS), subject to:

  • Adherence to Guardian’s Logo Usage Policy
  • Prohibition of misleading usage (e.g., on products, packaging, or suggesting product certification)
  • Removal of all marks upon suspension, withdrawal, or expiration of certification

Violations may result in legal action or public disclaimers issued by Guardian Assessment Pvt. Ltd

Suspension or Withdrawal of Certification

Guardian Assessment reserves the right to suspend or withdraw certificates in the following situations:

  • Non-compliance with surveillance audit schedule
  • Significant or unresolved non-conformities
  • Breach of contract, code of conduct, or misuse of logos
  • Voluntary surrender or verified complaints affecting certified status

In such cases, public notice may be issued and access to certificate status will be restricted or deactivated.

Appeals and Complaints

Our documented dispute resolution process ensures:

  • Fair handling of appeals against certification decisions
  • Transparent and timely resolution of client or stakeholder complaints
  • Access to an independent panel for impartial review when needed

All appeal decisions are documented and communicated to the concerned party in writing.
