Guardian Assessment Pvt. Ltd. issues inspection reports to communicate the results of a defined inspection. Confidence in those reports depends on their authenticity, complete presentation and use within the scope and limitations stated in the document.
A Guardian inspection report applies only to the:
- identified client and inspected party, where stated;
- food product, process, facility, lot or consignment identified;
- inspection location and date;
- agreed inspection scope and stage;
- criteria and methods referenced; and
- evidence available to the inspector at the time of inspection.
An inspection report does not automatically apply to other products, locations, lots, dates or future operations. It is not a management-system certificate, product certificate, licence, regulatory approval or guarantee of continuing conformity.
Guardian's inspection accreditation is currently under process and has not yet been granted. Inspection reports must not be described as accredited and shall not display an accreditation symbol unless Guardian later receives formal accreditation covering the relevant activity and location.
The recipient may use an authentic report for its agreed business, contractual or regulatory purpose. Unless Guardian has authorized otherwise in writing:
- the report should be reproduced only in full;
- all pages, identifiers, findings, limitations and attachments must remain together;
- the report number and issue status must remain visible;
- Guardian's name or logo must not be used separately to imply approval; and
- extracts must not be used in a misleading context.
Possession of a report does not transfer ownership of Guardian's name, logo, report design or other intellectual property.
To verify a report, send a request to info@guardiancertification.com with the subject line "Inspection Report Verification." Provide:
- complete report number;
- report issue date;
- name of the organization shown on the report;
- inspected item or location; and
- a copy of the report where requested.
For confidentiality and anti-fraud reasons, Guardian may limit its response to confirmation of whether the report number, issue date, client or inspected item corresponds to its controlled record. Verification confirms authenticity; it does not extend the inspection scope or confirm continuing conformity.
If an issued report contains an error or requires authorized amendment, Guardian will evaluate the matter and, where justified, issue a controlled correction, supplement or replacement. The relationship with the original report will be clearly identified.
Recipients must stop using a superseded or withdrawn version after receiving notice of replacement or withdrawal.
Misuse Includes
- alteration of findings, dates, names, quantities, photographs or conclusions;
- removal of limitations, nonconformities or unfavourable pages;
- creation of a false or counterfeit report;
- use of a report for an item, lot, facility or location not inspected;
- representation of a non-accredited report as accredited;
- use of an accreditation mark without authorization;
- representation of inspection as certification or regulatory approval; and
- continued use of a cancelled, withdrawn or superseded report.
Report a Suspected Misuse
Guardian may investigate, request corrective action, notify affected parties, withdraw a report, publish a clarification where lawful, or refer suspected fraud to an appropriate authority. Information will be handled with due regard for confidentiality and legal requirements.
Accreditation and Controlled Documents

Inspection activities and reports must not be represented as accredited unless and until accreditation is formally granted for the relevant activity and location.
