Overview
Guardian Assessment Pvt Ltd provides ISO 37001:2025 Transition Certification services to organizations holding a valid ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System certification.
ISO 37001:2025 replaces ISO 37001:2016 and introduces updated requirements related to compliance culture, conflicts of interest, clarification of the anti-bribery function, and alignment with the harmonized structure. Organizations certified to the earlier version are required to transition to ISO 37001:2025 within the defined transition period to maintain certification validity.
As per IAF MD 30:2025 – Transition Requirements for ISO 37001:2025, the transition period ends on 28 February 2027. After this date, ISO 37001:2016 certificates will no longer be valid.
Transition Audit Process
The ISO 37001:2025 transition audit may be conducted:
During a scheduled surveillance audit, or
During a recertification audit, or
As a separate transition audit, where required
The transition audit shall focus on changes introduced in ISO 37001:2025 compared to ISO 37001:2016, and includes verification of:
Implementation of new and revised ISO 37001:2025 requirements
Updated anti-bribery risk assessment and risk treatment measures
Leadership commitment, roles, and accountability
Controls related to conflicts of interest and business associates
Continued effectiveness of the Anti-Bribery Management System
Certification Outcome
Upon successful completion of the transition audit and certification decision, Guardian Assessment Pvt Ltd issues an ISO 37001:2025 certificate, ensuring continued conformity with applicable certification and accreditation requirements.
Important Note on Transition
Organizations that do not complete the transition to ISO 37001:2025 within the specified transition period may have their ISO 37001:2016 certification rendered invalid after the transition end date, in line with IAF requirements.
