GPL have publicly available rules governing any management systems third party mark that it authorizes certified clients to use. These rules shall assure, among other things, traceability back to the certification body. There shall be no ambiguity, in the mark or accompanying text, as to what has been certified, and which certification body has granted the certification. This mark shall not be used on a product or product packaging or in any other way that may be interpreted as denoting product conformity. All certificates issued by Guardian Assessment Pvt. Ltd. remain the property of GPL and must be returned when requested. Certificate holders must ensure that no incorrect references to GPL’s certification system or misleading use of certificates or marks occur.
Guardian Assessment Pvt. Ltd. Registered Companies Logo is granted under license to those client/companies who have obtained certification of their Management System by GPL after successful assessment to the applicable standard of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 27001: 2022, ISO 21001:2018 & ISO 37001:2016. Where the Guardian Assessment Pvt. Ltd. Registration Certificate has been issued under accreditation logo, Accreditation body’s logo is too used in combination with the Guardian Assessment Pvt. Ltd. registered companies’ logo, as applicable. Any reference to the certification and use of logo governs with rules and communication made by the guardian assessment Pvt. Ltd.

GPL does not permit its marks to be applied to laboratory test, calibration or inspection reports or certificate and client agree to this.

GPL permit its clients to use a statement on the product or product packaging or accompanying literature to demonstrate that the product has been manufactured under a certified management system. But it shall be rigorous, and statement must be clear to avoid any ambiguity.
Permissible claim may be as following:
“This product was manufactured (or packaged, etc.) by the organization name (say TATA) whose management system is certified by GPL certificate number XXXXXX to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 27001: 2022, ISO 21001:2018 & ISO 37001:2016.
Use of the logo govern with these terms and client confirm and shall use any such reference in compliance to these terms.

Client shall ensure that:
- Client confirms to the requirements of GPL when making reference to its certification status in communication media such as the internet, brochures or advertising, or other documents,
- Client does not make or permit any misleading statement regarding its certification,
- Does not use the use of certification document or any part thereof in a misleading manner,
- Upon suspension or withdrawal of its certification, discontinues its use in all advertising matter that contains a reference to certification, as directed by GPL.
- Client amends all advertising matter when the scope of certification has been reduced,
- Client does not allow reference to its management system certification to be used in such a way as to imply that the certification body certifies a product (including services) or processes,
- Client does not imply that the certification applies to activities that are outside the scope of certification,
- Client does not use its certification in such a manner that would bring GPL and/or certification system into disrepute and lose public trust.

GPL exercises proper control of ownership and shall take prompt corrective action to deal with incorrect references to certification status or misleading use of certification documents, marks or audit reports. In failing to take prompt corrective action by client may lead to serious action, such action could include requests for correction and corrective action, suspension, withdrawal of certification, publication of the transgression and, if necessary, legal action.

ACCREDITATION STATUS
6.1 Guardian Assessment Pvt. Ltd. (GPL) holds valid and independent accreditations from United Accreditation Foundation (UAF) and International Accreditation Service (IAS).
6.2 Each accreditation is maintained separately in accordance with the respective accreditation body’s requirements, agreements, regulations, and logo usage policies.
6.3 GPL operates under a dual accreditation framework. All certification activities shall clearly identify the applicable accreditation body under which certification is granted.
6.4 Accreditation status shall be accurately represented in all certificates, agreements, proposals, marketing materials, website disclosures, and public communications.
6.5 No statement shall be made that may create confusion regarding the source or validity of accreditation.

USE OF IAS ACCREDITATION SYMBOL AND IAF/IAS MLA COMBINED MARK
7.1 The IAS Accreditation Symbol and IAF/IAS MLA Combined Mark shall be used strictly in accordance with IAS/ADM/084 (Editorially Revised January 25, 2023) and the applicable IAS accreditation agreement.
7.2 Use of the IAS Accreditation Symbol and IAF/IAS MLA Combined Mark shall be permitted only after execution of the formal IAS Combined Mark Agreement.
7.3 GPL shall submit sample certificate formats, reports, website pages, and promotional materials displaying the combined mark to IAS for approval prior to implementation.
7.4 Written authorization from IAS shall be obtained before the mark is used on any official document.
7.5 The IAF/IAS MLA Combined Mark may be used solely on certificates issued under GPL’s valid IAS-accredited scope, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 37001:2016, and ISO 21001:2018.
7.6 The mark shall appear only in relation to certification activities that fall within the officially approved IAS scope of accreditation.
7.7 The IAF MLA Mark shall never be used independently and must always appear in combination with the IAS Accreditation Symbol.
7.8 The IAS accreditation number shall be clearly displayed in proximity to the IAS symbol, in accordance with IAS requirements.
7.9 The marks shall be reproduced exclusively from official artwork supplied by IAS and shall not be altered, distorted, rotated, resized disproportionately, or modified.
7.10 The marks shall not be used on products or product packaging or in any manner that implies product certification.
7.11 The marks shall not be used for activities outside the approved scope of accreditation.
7.12 Certified clients shall not be permitted to use the IAS Accreditation Symbol or IAF/IAS Combined Mark independently.
7.13 Use of the marks shall immediately cease upon suspension, withdrawal, expiration, or reduction of IAS accreditation.

USE OF UAF ACCREDITATION MARK
8.1 The UAF Accreditation Mark shall be used strictly in accordance with the UAF accreditation agreement and logo usage requirements.
8.2 The UAF Accreditation Mark shall be used only on certificates issued under GPL’s valid UAF-accredited scope.
8.3 The applicable UAF accreditation number shall be clearly displayed as required by UAF.
8.4 The UAF mark shall not be altered, distorted, rotated, resized disproportionately, or modified in any manner.
8.5 The UAF mark shall not be used on products or product packaging or in any manner that implies product certification.
8.6 The UAF mark shall not be used for activities outside the approved UAF-accredited scope.
8.7 Certified clients shall not be permitted to use the UAF Accreditation Mark independently.
8.8 Use of the mark shall immediately cease upon suspension, withdrawal, expiration, or reduction of UAF accreditation.

CONTROL UNDER DUAL ACCREDITATION
9.1 IAS accreditation marks shall appear only on certificates issued under IAS accreditation.
9.2 UAF accreditation marks shall appear only on certificates issued under UAF accreditation.
9.3 IAS and UAF accreditation marks shall not appear together on the same certificate.
9.4 Separate, controlled certificate templates shall be maintained for IAS and UAF certifications.
9.5 The applicable accreditation body shall be clearly identified on each certificate.
9.6 Accreditation numbers shall be displayed in accordance with the respective accreditation body requirements.
9.7 Website disclosures, brochures, and promotional materials shall clearly distinguish between IAS-accredited and UAF-accredited certification activities.
9.8 Internal controls shall ensure that certification decisions and certificate issuance correspond to the correct accreditation scope and certificate template.

Prohibited Use
10.1 The IAS logo shall not be used independently.
10.2 The IAF logo shall not be used independently.
10.3 Accreditation marks shall not be used outside the approved scope of accreditation.
10.4 Accreditation marks shall not be used following suspension, withdrawal, expiration, or scope reduction.
10.5 Obsolete, revised, or superseded versions of accreditation marks shall not be used.
10.6 Misleading, false, or inaccurate claims regarding accreditation status shall not be made.

CHANGE IN ACCREDITATION STATUS OR LOGO
11.1 In the event of suspension, withdrawal, reduction, expiration, or modification of accreditation by IAS or UAF, GPL shall immediately review and control the use of the relevant accreditation marks.
11.2 Accreditation marks shall be removed without delay from affected certificates, websites, promotional materials, and public communications where accreditation is no longer valid.
11.3 No reference to accreditation shall be made beyond the approved scope following any change in accreditation status.
11.4 Where IAS, UAF, or GPL formally revises or updates its logo, accreditation symbol, or combined mark, the revised artwork shall be implemented without undue delay.
11.5 Use of obsolete or superseded logos or accreditation symbols shall immediately cease.
11.6 Continued use of outdated or unauthorized logos shall be treated as non-compliant use and may result in corrective action.
11.7 Certified clients shall comply with any formal communication issued by GPL regarding changes in accreditation status or logo usage requirements.

MONITORING AND ENFORCEMENT
12.1 GPL shall establish and maintain documented controls to monitor proper use of accreditation marks.
12.2 Internal audits shall periodically verify compliance with accreditation logo usage requirements.
12.3 Any incorrect, misleading, or unauthorized use shall be addressed through corrective action.
12.4 Persistent non-compliance may result in notification to the relevant accreditation body and potential suspension or withdrawal of accreditation.
